Coastal Carolina recorded a decisive victory against South Carolina Upstate on Saturday, winning the game with a score of 73-51. Both Joshua Meo and Jordan Battle were instrumental in the Chanticleers’ success, each contributing 13 points to the team’s total performance.
Meo showcased his shooting skills, completing 4 of 7 attempts overall, including a commendable 2 of 3 from beyond the arc. He also made 3 out of 6 free throws. Meanwhile, Battle had a solid outing as well, hitting 6 of his 10 shots and managing to make one of his three attempts from long range. Adding to the offensive efforts, Noah Amenhauser scored 12 points, connecting on 5 of 7 field goals and converting 2 of 3 at the charity stripe.
On the other side, the Spartans were led in scoring by Brit Harris, who ended the game with 12 points alongside two steals. Karmani Gregory provided support as well, contributing 11 points and also registering two steals for South Carolina Upstate, who currently hold a record of 2-8.
