TROY, Ala. — In an impressive display of teamwork, the Troy Trojans secured a significant victory against Middle Georgia State, winning 87-53 on Saturday evening.
Jackson Fields was a standout performer for Troy, contributing 13 points and shooting an efficient 5 of 7 from the field while also converting 3 of 5 free throws.
Myles Rigsby provided solid support, finishing the game with 11 points, along with notable contributions on the boards with eight rebounds and a total of five steals.
Jerrell Bellamy also made his mark, scoring 10 points while shooting 4 of 7 from the floor and hitting 2 of 4 from the charity stripe.
On the opposing side, Trevon Ragland was the leading scorer for Middle Georgia State, contributing 12 points to the effort.
Nhine Wills also played a pivotal role for the Knights, adding eight points to his performance, along with nine rebounds, showcasing his presence in the paint.
This win marked another successful outing for the Trojans, improving their record to 6-4 for the season.
