NORFOLK, Va. — In a decisive matchup on Thursday night, Arkansas State emerged victorious over Old Dominion with a score of 78-59, propelled by Terrance Ford Jr.’s impressive 21-point performance.
Ford was instrumental for the Red Wolves (11-3, 2-0 in the Sun Belt Conference), contributing not just with scoring but also dishing out five assists. Taryn Todd supported the team with 17 points, achieving 5 of 17 shooting from the field, including a pair of three-pointers out of six attempts. Additionally, Todd made 5 of 6 free throws and recorded seven rebounds along with five assists. Dyondre Dominguez solidified the team’s attack by scoring 11 points on 5 of 7 shooting, further supporting Arkansas State’s ongoing momentum by extending their winning streak to six consecutive games.
