TURIN, Italy — Juventus has strengthened its offensive lineup by acquiring French forward Randal Kolo Muani on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain, which will last until the conclusion of the current season. This move was finalized on Thursday as the club looks to enhance its performance in Serie A.

Currently sitting in fifth place in the league, Juventus remains unbeaten but has struggled to convert games into victories, resulting in 13 draws out of 21 matches played this season. This lack of finishing touch has prompted the club to seek new talent to invigorate their attack.

Kolo Muani, who became PSG’s third-most expensive acquisition when he transferred from Eintracht Frankfurt for 95 million euros (approximately $101 million) at the start of last season, has not fully adapted to his role at the French club. Coach Luis Enrique has utilized him sparingly this season, and while he has managed to score 11 goals in 54 appearances for PSG, his performance has not met expectations.

Despite his struggles, Kolo Muani’s impressive speed and skill set make him a valuable asset for Juventus, as he has the ability to play both as a winger and a central forward. His versatility could provide the creative spark that Juventus has been missing in their attacking plays.

The forward also has experience on the international stage, having scored eight goals in 27 matches for the French national team. He was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup but experienced disappointment after losing to Argentina, where he notably squandered an important opportunity in extra time.
