GREENSBORO, N.C. — Monmouth secured a victory over North Carolina A&T with a score of 72-63 on Thursday night, with Abdi Bashir Jr. leading the charge by scoring 21 points.
Bashir demonstrated his scoring ability by making 7 of his 18 attempts from the field, which included hitting 1 out of 5 from behind the arc, and maintaining a perfect record of 6 for 6 from the free-throw line. His performance was instrumental in helping the Hawks improve to a 5-13 overall record and 3-2 in the Coastal Athletic Association.
