EASTON, Pa. — Jahari Williamson played a crucial role in leading Niagara to a narrow victory over Binghamton, finishing with 15 points, including a pivotal 3-point shot in the dying moments of the game. The final score stood at 65-62 in favor of the Purple Eagles on Friday evening.

With only five seconds left on the clock, Binghamton’s Ben Callahan-Gold made a clutch three-pointer that tied the game at 62. However, Williamson swiftly responded by sinking his own three-pointer with just milliseconds remaining, sealing the win for Niagara.

Williamson had an efficient performance, hitting 4 out of 8 shots from the field, including 3 from beyond the arc, while also converting all four of his free-throw attempts. In addition to Williamson’s contributions, Jhaylon Martinez added 13 points and secured six rebounds, and Olumide Adelodun completed the matchup with 12 points, shooting 5 of 13 overall and 2 of 9 from three-point territory.

For the Bearcats, Tymu Chenery was the standout performer, scoring 18 points alongside making six assists and blocking two shots. Chris Walker also had a strong showing, contributing 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, while Evan Ashe chipped in with eight points.
