A tragic incident occurred off the coast of Libya on Tuesday as a boat carrying migrants headed for Europe capsized, according to Libyan authorities. The boat was reportedly carrying a total of 32 migrants, with one person confirmed dead, while 22 others are still missing.
The Libyan coast guard stationed in Tobruk, on the eastern coast of the country, managed to rescue nine individuals from the capsized boat. Efforts are ongoing to locate and rescue the remaining missing passengers.
