CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — On Saturday night, Southern Illinois emerged victorious over Austin Peay, securing a 65-60 win, thanks in part to Ali Abdou Dibba’s impressive performance, where he scored 18 points.

Dibba also contributed five rebounds to the team’s efforts during the match, helping the Salukis improve their record to 5-6. Meanwhile, Jarrett Hensley added to the scoreboard with 13 points, shooting 4 of 12 overall, including a 1 for 4 performance from beyond the arc, while also going a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line. Kennard Davis chipped in with 12 points, going 3 for 7 from the field, which included 2 for 3 from three-point territory, and hitting 4 of 6 from the charity stripe.
