    SAN ANTONIO — In a Southland Conference showdown, Davion Bailey’s impressive performance propelled Incarnate Word to a 73-61 victory over Lamar on Monday night. Bailey showcased his shooting skills, scoring a total of 25 points for the Cardinals. His shooting accuracy was notable, as he made 8 out of 15 attempts from the field, including 6 of 10 from beyond the arc, and was perfect from the free-throw line with 3 of 3.

    Jalin Anderson was a key contributor to the win, adding 14 points, securing five rebounds, and dishing out nine assists. Dylan Hayman also played a crucial role, scoring 12 points by going 5 of 13 from the field, and connected on 2 out of 5 attempts from three-point range, while also providing six assists to his teammates.
