LONDON — Over the coming three seasons, the NBA is set to host a minimum of six regular-season games across Europe, commencing with a match-up between the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic this year. This kicks off with the two teams facing off in Berlin on January 15, followed by another contest in London on January 18.

The scheduled international games will continue in subsequent seasons: for 2026-27, the NBA will bring matchups to Manchester in England and Paris in France, before circling back to Berlin and Paris for more action during the 2027-28 season. These events will unfold in prominent venues: Berlin’s Uber Arena, The O2 in London, Co-op Live in Manchester, and the Accor Arena in Paris.

“By announcing the next three seasons’ games in Europe, we’re highlighting the significant interest and excitement for NBA basketball in nations like France, Germany, and the UK, as well as across the broader European region,” explained George Aivazoglou, the managing director for NBA Europe and the Middle East. “We are thrilled about the opportunity to welcome the Grizzlies and Magic to Berlin and London, and about the chance to connect with our fans, players, and local communities through these matches and related activities.”

The upcoming game in Berlin will mark NBA’s 14th visit to Germany since 1984; however, this will be the very first regular-season game to take place there. Notably, it will be a homecoming event for Magic players Franz and Moritz Wagner, who notably have roles on Germany’s national team.

In contrast, this season’s London showing marks the 10th regular-season game to be held in the city. Manchester will host its first regular-season game, whereas Paris has previously hosted such a contest five times, with two games taking place last season involving teams like the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs. A particularly awaited event last season was the presence of French player Victor Wembanyama of the Spurs, which justified their participation in Paris.

The complete schedule for this NBA season is anticipated for mid-August. More information regarding dates and participating teams for the 2027 and 2028 games will be disclosed ahead of those respective seasons.
