BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Western Kentucky secured an 85-69 win over Kennesaw State on Saturday, with standout performances from several players.
Tyrone Marshall was a key contributor, scoring 20 points while also grabbing seven rebounds and making three steals, helping the Hilltoppers improve their record to 11-6 overall and 2-2 in Conference USA.
Enoch Kalambay provided valuable support, contributing 19 points and eight rebounds, while Don McHenry added another significant 15 points to the scoreboard.
On the opposing side, Kennesaw State’s Adrian Wooley was the standout performer, finishing the game with 27 points and 10 rebounds, making him the top scorer for the Owls, whose record now sits at 9-7 and 1-2 in conference play.
Western Kentucky took control early, claiming the lead just under two minutes into the first half and maintaining it throughout the game. Marshall’s strong first-half performance, where he tallied 12 points, helped the Hilltoppers establish an impressive 40-25 lead by halftime.
Overall, it was a solid team effort for Western Kentucky as they showcased their skills and teamwork to seal the victory at home.
