Lazio suffers ejection and shares points with Como in cold Serie A stalemate

ROME — Lazio faced a tough match at home on Friday, ending in a 1-1 draw against Como, which marked a continuation of their winless streak to three games in Serie A.

The match started positively for Lazio, as Boulaye Dia netted a goal in the first half, putting the team ahead. However, the momentum shifted in the second half when Patrick Cutrone equalized for Como in the 72nd minute, capitalizing on a well-placed cross from Gabriel Strefezza.

A significant moment in the game came during the second half when Lazio’s Loum Tchaouna was shown a red card after receiving two yellow cards in quick succession just a few minutes apart, leaving his team to play with ten men.

With this result, Lazio found themselves in fourth place, trailing behind Inter Milan by four points, five points behind Atalanta, and eight points off the table leaders, Napoli.

On the other hand, Como’s draw placed them in 15th position, just two points clear of the relegation zone, highlighting the importance of this match for both teams.
