Newton displayed remarkable shooting skills, making 6 of 9 attempts from the field, including 5 out of 8 from beyond the arc. He also executed a flawless 3 for 3 from the free-throw line. Obi Agbim supported the effort with 16 points, although his shot accuracy from three-point range was less stellar, completing 2 of 9 attempts overall with a 6-for-13 shooting performance.
