White nets 19 points as North Dakota State triumphs 98-62 against Western Michigan

FARGO, N.D. — In an impressive display of skill, Jacari White contributed 19 points to lead North Dakota State to a commanding 98-62 victory over Western Michigan on Sunday.
White also recorded five rebounds and five assists for the Bison, who improved their season record to 10-4. Jacksen Moni supported the effort with 16 points, shooting an efficient 7 for 10 and nailing 2 of 4 attempts from three-point range. Additionally, Masen Miller was on fire from beyond the arc, hitting 5 out of 9 three-pointers to finish the game with 15 points. This win marked the seventh consecutive victory for the Bison.

On the other side, the Broncos struggled to keep pace with their rivals, relying on Chansey Willis Jr. for a standout performance of 22 points and five assists. Marquese Josephs also contributed nicely, adding 12 points. Markhi Strickland chipped in with eight points, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide for Western Michigan, whose record now stands at 3-7.

North Dakota State seized control early in the game, taking a lead just 27 seconds into the first half, a vantage point they maintained throughout. By halftime, the Bison had established a solid 49-28 lead, with White leading their scoring efforts with 13 points at that point. In the second half, North Dakota State continued to dominate, at one stage driving their lead to 73-38, highlighted by a rapid 9-0 scoring spurt. Darik Dissette came off the bench to score a team-high eight points in the second half, helping to secure the final score.

Looking ahead, North Dakota State is set to face CSU Bakersfield at home on Monday, while Western Michigan will prepare for a match-up against Valparaiso this coming Friday.
