In a thrilling match on Sunday, Bryan Etumnu shone brightly, contributing 21 points as Merrimack secured a 69-62 victory over Manhattan.
Etumnu’s performance was notable not just for his scoring, but he also showcased his defensive skills with three steals and three blocks, helping his team improve to a record of 8-8 overall and 5-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Complementing Etumnu’s efforts, Adam Clark delivered an impressive performance with 15 points, along with nine assists and three steals. Matt Becht also made his mark on the game, scoring 13 points.
On the opposing side, the Jaspers fought fiercely, led by Masiah Gilyard and Wesley Robinson, who each netted 14 points. Gilyard was instrumental on the boards as well, contributing nine rebounds and four steals, while Robinson added seven rebounds to his tally. Will Sydnor rounded out the Jaspers’ scoring with 11 points.
