Guardiola confirmed that Walker expressed his desire to consider options for playing abroad as he nears the end of his playing career. “Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad at the end of his career,” Guardiola stated. Since transferring from Tottenham in 2017, Walker has been a part of 15 major trophy wins, solidifying his reputation as one of the Premier League’s preeminent right-backs.
