RUSTON, La. — In a strong display of teamwork and skill, Al Green propelled Louisiana Tech to a convincing 81-64 victory over Florida International on Thursday evening, contributing a significant 21 points coming off the bench.
Green showcased his shooting accuracy, hitting 7 out of 9 attempts from the field, which included 5 of 7 from beyond the arc, and also managed to convert 2 of 4 free-throw attempts. This performance helped the Bulldogs improve their season record to 12-4 and 1-2 in Conference USA play. Kaden Cooper also made an impact on the scoreboard, finishing with 19 points on an impressive shooting performance of 9 for 11 and grabbing eight rebounds. Daniel Batcho added depth to the team’s scoring with 16 points, hitting 7 of 8 from the field and 2 of 5 from the free-throw line.
