The 2024 Michigan Sports Writers Division 5-6 All-State football team has been announced, showcasing standout players across various positions as selected by a group of 11 sports writers.

**PLAYER OF THE YEAR**

Kadale Williams from Jackson Lumen Christi has garnered the prestigious title of Player of the Year for his remarkable performance throughout the season.

**ALL-STATE SELECTIONS**
**Quarterbacks:**
Graham Junge from Flat Rock (Senior), Sam Stowe from Pontiac Notre Dame Prep (Junior), and Caleb Moore from Warren Michigan Collegiate (Senior) made their mark as top quarterbacks.

**Running Backs:**
Kadale Williams again shines in the running back category alongside Ryan Spate from Boyne City (Senior), Jackson Malburg from Armada (Junior), and Peyton Merz from Mason County Central (Senior).

Pat Fox from Pontiac Notre Dame Prep receives recognition as Coach of the Year for his leadership and team’s performance.

**SECOND TEAM**
A second-tier team has also been announced, featuring quarterbacks such as Brayden Lape from Grass Lake, Alex Fernandez from Lansing Catholic Central, and Colton Klein from Swan Valley, as well as several talented running backs like Danny Dubay from Pinconning and Montrell Parker from Hazel Park.

Others recognized include receivers Braden Rabideau from Lansing Catholic Central and Gage Perkins from Remus Chippewa Hills, along with an impressive group of offensive and defensive linemen, linebackers, and defensive backs.

**HONORABLE MENTION**
Numerous players are acknowledged as honorable mentions, including quarterbacks Jayden Arthur from Clare and Antoine Kimball from Detroit Central, among several others across all categories such as running backs, receivers, and defensive specialists.
