LONDON — Authorities in the United Kingdom announced on Monday that a man, aged 43, has been charged in connection with a bomb hoax that occurred near the U.S. Embassy in London the previous week.
Daniel Parmenter made his appearance at Ealing Magistrates Court on the same day and has since been taken into custody.
His arrest took place at his residence on Sunday, just a few days following a controlled detonation executed by law enforcement on a suspicious package discovered near the embassy on Friday.
