Southern states brace for historic snowstorm amid arctic cold

A Siberian air blast has plunged the US into bitter cold, with temperatures 20-30 degrees below normal. Wind chills as low as -57°F threaten frostbite within minutes.

Snow reaches deep South, Florida included

Rare snowfall is forecast across southern states, potentially blanketing parts of Texas, Louisiana, and Florida with up to 3 inches, causing hazardous conditions.
