Tensions on the set of It Ends With Us have spiraled into a public battle between stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Lively accused Baldoni of fostering a hostile work environment in a civil rights complaint filed on December 20. In retaliation, Baldoni launched a lawsuit against The New York Times for publishing an article that sided with Lively’s claims.

Baldoni’s Allegations Against Lively

In his lawsuit, Baldoni alleged that Lively displayed bullying behavior and meddled in the creative process, including issuing ultimatums to studio executives to shelve his version of the film. He further claimed that Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, humiliated him on set over a misunderstanding. Baldoni’s legal team has signaled plans for additional lawsuits, adding pressure to Lively, who is already under scrutiny.

Lively’s Response to Baldoni’s Claims

Lively has pushed back against Baldoni’s counterclaims, accusing him of running a retaliatory smear campaign. She alleged Baldoni sexually harassed her, created a hostile environment, and improvised intimate scenes not included in the script. She also claimed he displayed inappropriate images and discussed her weight loss with her trainer without consent.

In a statement, Lively’s lawyers accused Baldoni of using classic victim-blaming tactics to discredit her allegations. They argued that his counterclaims were an attempt to deflect from her accusations of misconduct.

What’s Next in This Hollywood Feud?

The drama shows no signs of slowing down. Baldoni’s legal team announced plans for further lawsuits, potentially naming Ryan Reynolds as a defendant. As the feud escalates, the behind-the-scenes turmoil of It Ends With Us threatens to overshadow the film’s release, with both stars locked in a high-st
