Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are officially ending their marriage, with TMZ reporting that the couple has settled their divorce. In just over a month, the pair will formally part ways, marking the end of their two-year union.

The settlement ensures that each retains what they earned during their marriage. Ben’s income from his blockbuster films and his thriving production company, Artists Equity, remains his. The company, co-founded with Matt Damon in 2022—just months after the couple tied the knot—has already produced hits like AirUnstoppableThe Instigators, and The Accountant 2.

J Lo’s Projects Stay Hers

Meanwhile, J Lo will keep control of her major ventures, including her work on films like AtlasThe Mother, and Shotgun Wedding, as well as her album This Is Me… Now.

The duo also reached a confidential agreement regarding their $61 million mansion, which is currently on the market but has yet to find a buyer.

No Prenup, No Problem

Although Ben and J Lo did not have a prenuptial agreement, their settlement—mediated by renowned attorney Laura Wasser—functions like one. Each party walks away with their respective earnings, bypassing a typical 50/50 split.

One significant change: Jennifer Lopez will officially drop the last name Affleck and revert to Jennifer Lynn Lopez.

Countdown to Official Divorce

Jennifer filed for divorce back in August, and now, just five months later, everything is settled. The marriage will officially end on February 20, marking exactly six months since she initiated the split.

“Bennifer” may be over, but their amicable split proves that even Hollywood’s brightest stars can navigate divorce with class.
