Two prominent luxury real estate brokers and their brother face federal charges of sex trafficking in New York City, accused of luring, drugging, and violently assaulting dozens of women over more than a decade. A federal indictment unsealed Wednesday in Manhattan alleges that Oren, Tal, and Alon Alexander used their wealth and influence to exploit victims between 2010 and 2021.
Additional state charges were filed in Florida against Oren and Alon Alexander, along with a third man, Ohad Fisherman, for three alleged sexual assaults. Prosecutors claim the brothers employed “deception, fraud, and coercion” to entice women to travel with them or attend events, often covering expenses to gain their trust. The indictment alleges the victims were then drugged and sexually assaulted, sometimes being sent away with gifts like concert tickets.
“This conduct was heinous,” said Damian Williams, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, at a news conference.
Allegations Detail a Decade of Abuse
Prosecutors say the brothers targeted victims via dating apps, social events, bars, and nightclubs, sometimes employing party promoters to recruit women. The women were allegedly drugged with substances such as cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, and GHB. In some cases, their drinks were spiked without their knowledge, leaving them unable to resist or escape the assaults.
The indictment describes instances where victims were physically restrained, ignored when they screamed or begged for the attacks to stop, and subjected to repeated violations.
Florida Incidents
Florida prosecutors highlighted three separate incidents, including a December 2016 attack described as a “gang rape.” A woman who had been invited to a barbecue at Alon Alexander’s apartment found herself alone with Alon, Oren, and Fisherman. She reported being led to a bedroom, where Fisherman held her down while the brothers argued over who would rape her first.
In 2017, another woman accused Oren Alexander of assaulting her after she felt incapacitated from drinking wine at his apartment. A third assault allegedly occurred in 2021, with a woman claiming Oren attacked her after she returned to his residence with friends after dinner.
Legal Proceedings and Denials
The three brothers were arrested Wednesday in Florida. Oren Alexander appeared in federal court the same day, while Alon and Tal are expected to appear Thursday. Prosecutors are requesting detention for Tal, citing him as a flight risk and danger to the community.
Lawyers for the brothers denied the allegations. Susan Necheles, representing Oren Alexander, stated he is “innocent” and expressed confidence that the evidence will exonerate him. Alon Alexander’s attorney, Isabelle Kirshner, affirmed he will plead not guilty, while Tal Alexander’s lawyer, Joel Denaro, declined to comment.

Attorneys for women who previously filed lawsuits against the Alexanders welcomed the charges. David Gottlieb, representing several victims, applauded the courage of survivors who spoke out, stating this accountability was long overdue.

Oren and Tal Alexander are well-known figures in luxury real estate, previously brokering high-profile deals for celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Lindsay Lohan. They left Douglas Elliman in 2022 to establish their own firm, Official. Their brother Alon, a law school graduate, worked in the family’s private security business.
