The fire brigade shared details on the social media platform X: “A propane-butane cylinder exploded in the Kojot restaurant in Most. Twelve fire brigade units are on the scene.

Emergency teams acted quickly. They managed to save a patron who had been trapped in the restaurant’s toilet. This person suffered serious injuries but was pulled to safety.

Evacuations and injuries

Around 20 guests were inside the restaurant when the explosion happened. The fire and subsequent chaos forced the evacuation of 30 people from the restaurant and nearby buildings. All eight injured individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment.
