Harrison’s 19 lift Grand Canyon over UT Arlington 85-71

    PHOENIX — In an exciting Western Athletic Conference matchup on Thursday night, Grand Canyon University’s basketball team secured an 85-71 victory over UT Arlington. Rayshon Harrison led the charge with an impressive performance, scoring 19 points while also contributing six assists and three steals.

    Supporting Harrison’s efforts, Collin Moore played a pivotal role by scoring 16 points, shooting 6-of-12 from the field, including two successful three-pointers out of six attempts. Moore also provided his team with seven assists and snagged six steals. Caleb Shaw’s perfect shooting night saw him score 15 points, as he made all six of his field goal attempts, including three from beyond the arc.

    On the other side, Jaden Wells emerged as the top performer for the Mavericks, adding 19 points to their tally. Brody Robinson contributed with 11 points and demonstrated his play-making ability with seven assists. Lance Ware impressed with a double-double, securing 10 points, a remarkable 17 rebounds, and two blocks.

    The victory places Grand Canyon University in second position within the conference standings, trailing Utah Valley by just one game. With three games remaining in their regular season, Grand Canyon’s journey in the competition remains alive and full of promise as they strive for the top spot.
