FAIRBORN, Ohio – In an exciting game on Friday night, Northern Kentucky edged past Wright State with a final score of 80-76, thanks in large part to the performance of Dan Gherezgher Jr., who contributed 17 points.
Gherezgher had a solid shooting night, making 6 of his 13 attempts from the field and hitting 3 of his 5 shots from three-point territory. His efforts were crucial for the Norse, who improved to a record of 13-15 overall and 8-9 in the Horizon League.
Other significant contributors included Josh Dilling, who scored 16 points with a shooting accuracy of 5 for 8, which included two three-pointers. He also collected five rebounds, showcasing his versatility on the court. Sam Vinson added 14 points to the team’s total, converting 6 out of 7 shots and pulling down six rebounds, although he struggled a bit at the free-throw line, making only 2 of 6 attempts.
