Singleton and Green propel Holy Cross to a 74-69 overtime victory against Lafayette

WORCESTER, Mass. — In a thrilling showdown on Wednesday night, Kahlil Singleton led the Crusaders to victory with a solid contribution of 19 points, while Max Green made a significant impact in overtime, scoring eight of his 18 points to help Holy Cross secure a 74-69 win over Lafayette.

Singleton exhibited an impressive performance, hitting six of his 12 attempts from the field, which included four three-pointers out of nine tries. He also completed three free-throw attempts without a miss. Max Green shot equally well, making six of his 12 shots, including four from beyond the arc, alongside two successful free throws while also grabbing eight rebounds. Additionally, Caleb Kenney added support with 14 points, connecting on six of his 11 field goal attempts, and contributing seven rebounds along with three steals.

On the opposing side, the Leopards had standout performances from Luka Savicevic and Caleb Williams, both of whom scored 15 points. Andrew Phillips also made his mark on the game with a double-double, recording 13 points and securing 10 rebounds.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross is set to face Navy this upcoming Sunday in an away game, while Lafayette will host Lehigh on Saturday, seeking to improve their standing in the league.
