WORCESTER, Mass. — In an exciting matchup on Wednesday evening, Holy Cross overcame Lafayette with a final score of 74-69, thanks in part to Kahlil Singleton’s impressive 19-point performance. As the game progressed into overtime, Max Green made a significant contribution by scoring eight of his total 18 points during that critical period.
Singleton demonstrated assertiveness on the court, successfully making 6 of 12 shots overall, including an impressive 4 out of 9 from beyond the arc. He also maintained a perfect record from the free-throw line, hitting all 3 attempts. Meanwhile, Green showed notable shooting accuracy as well, making 6 of his 12 attempts, with 4 of those being three-point shots. He also contributed significantly to the team’s efforts by securing eight rebounds. Additionally, Caleb Kenney had a solid outing with 14 points from 6 of 11 shooting, along with seven rebounds and three steals, further solidifying the Crusaders’ victory.
