Saint Joseph’s (PA) struggled in the closing moments of the game, missing two key shots and turning the ball over, allowing the Patriots to secure the victory on Saturday.
Jalen Haynes was a standout performer for the Patriots, racking up 22 points and collecting eight rebounds, contributing significantly to the team’s performance. K.D. Johnson added nine points to the scoreboard, successfully shooting 4 of 6 from the field. O’Connor also played a vital role, scoring eight points, with an impressive shooting percentage of 2 of 3 from the field and a perfect 4 of 4 from the free-throw line. With this win, the Patriots extended their stellar winning streak to 11 games.
On the other side, the Hawks (15-10, 7-6) saw Xzayvier Brown shine with 19 points and three steals.
