NEW ORLEANS — The Tulane Green Wave triumphed over the Rice Owls with a thrilling score of 81-78 on Saturday, thanks to a stellar performance from Rowan Brumbaugh, who netted 25 points. Asher Woods made a crucial contribution by sinking a pivotal three-pointer just one second before the final buzzer, securing the victory for Tulane.

Brumbaugh also contributed significantly in other areas, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out eight assists, which played a vital role in the team’s performance. The Green Wave improve to a record of 14 wins and 11 losses, with 8 victories in the American Athletic Conference. Also notable was Gregg Glenn III, who poured in 20 points, shooting effectively throughout the game with an 8-of-15 shooting performance, though he struggled from beyond the arc, missing all four of his three-point attempts. Woods was another standout player, finishing the night with 20 points while shooting 58% from the field, including an impressive 4-of-5 from three-point range.
