NASHVILLE, Tenn. — On Saturday evening, Jacob Ognacevic put on an impressive performance, scoring 31 points as Lipscomb defeated Austin Peay with a score of 88-60.

Ognacevic’s contribution didn’t stop there; he also grabbed 12 rebounds, helping the Bisons improve their record to 13-6 overall and 5-1 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Will Pruitt supported the team’s success with 14 points, achieving a shooting percentage of 44% from the field, which included two successful three-pointers out of four attempts and converting four out of five free throws. Pruitt also contributed eight rebounds to the team’s efforts. Joe Anderson made his mark on the game by scoring nine points with a shooting performance that saw him hit three out of eight attempts from the floor, including three of six from beyond the arc. Additionally, he provided five rebounds and dished out eight assists, showcasing his all-around skills.

On the other side, Tate McCubbin emerged as the leading scorer for the Governors with 11 points and recorded two steals during the matchup. His teammates, Quan Lax and Isaac Haney, also contributed with 11 points each, with Lax adding three steals to his performance. Despite their efforts, Austin Peay’s overall performance was not enough to overcome the dominant display from Lipscomb.
