DENVER — A woman lost her life, and two others sustained injuries during a series of three stabbings that took place on Saturday evening, prompting an investigation by Denver police to determine if there was any link between the incidents.

The violent incidents occurred between the hours of 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. near the bustling 16th Street Mall, a well-known retail area in downtown Denver, as reported by the local police department through announcements on social media platform X.

The police confirmed the woman’s death the following day, yet they have not provided the names of the victims or any information regarding the condition of the injured survivors.

While investigators were working to establish a connection between the stabbings, they released a blurry image on Sunday showing a suspect dressed in black.

Authorities noted that there appeared to be no relationship between the suspect and the victims, and at this time, the motive behind the stabbings remains unclear.
