BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — In an electrifying matchup on Sunday night, Taryn Todd dazzled with a performance that included 31 points, five of which came in overtime, helping Arkansas State defeat UAB 98-89.

Todd not only showcased his scoring ability but also contributed significantly with six rebounds and five assists for the Red Wolves, who improved their season record to 9-3. Joining him was Kobe Julien, who had an impressive outing, shooting 9 for 14 from the field, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc, and maintaining a perfect 5 for 6 at the free-throw line to amass 25 points. Additionally, Izaiyah Nelson contributed with 16 points, hitting 6 of 13 shots and completing all four of his free throws, while also securing 14 rebounds and blocking three shots.
