The Lobos triumphed over UNLV with a final score of 75-73, marking their third consecutive victory.

With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Junior Joseph secured a crucial tip-in that put New Mexico ahead for good at 74-72. UNLV struggled to regain their footing, committing two turnovers and failing to convert on two 3-point attempts. Junior Joseph capped off the scoring by sinking a free throw, sealing the win for the Lobos.

Dent delivered a remarkable performance, finishing the night shooting 13 of 21 from the field, including a solid 2 of 3 from beyond the arc. He was perfect at the free-throw line, going 6 for 6.
