With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Junior Joseph secured a crucial tip-in that put New Mexico ahead for good at 74-72. UNLV struggled to regain their footing, committing two turnovers and failing to convert on two 3-point attempts. Junior Joseph capped off the scoring by sinking a free throw, sealing the win for the Lobos.
