The U.S. Army is anticipating meeting its enlistment objectives for 2025, signaling a significant recovery for a branch that has faced challenges in recruiting young individuals in the past few years. This turnaround follows substantial revisions to its recruitment strategies.
In an interview, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth revealed that the Army is on target to enlist around 61,000 individuals by the end of the fiscal year in September. Additionally, over 20,000 prospective recruits are currently in the delayed entry program for 2026. This trend marks the second consecutive year of achieving recruitment goals.
