Under the belt: Tony Buzbee, lawyer suing Jay-Z, Diddy on child rape claims, gave client STD

Prominent Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, known for his high-profile lawsuits, is facing shocking allegations in a new lawsuit filed anonymously in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The suit accuses Buzbee of deliberately transmitting a sexually transmitted disease (STD) to a woman and violently assaulting her during their relationship.

The lawsuit claims Buzbee “lured” the unnamed woman into a sexual relationship in 2018 by concealing his infection and later manipulated her to protect his reputation. The court documents allege that Buzbee used his status as a lawyer to offer free legal services in exchange for her silence, becoming increasingly possessive to prevent her from exposing him.

Violence and Manipulation Allegations

The lawsuit recounts a disturbing incident where Buzbee allegedly smashed a glass against the woman’s face after seeing her talk to another man in a New York City bar, breaking two of her teeth. Out of shame and fear, the woman continued to see Buzbee, believing he was the only partner who wouldn’t need to be informed of her STD status, the suit claims.

Buzbee is also accused of tampering with her medical records during a 2021 divorce case. According to the suit, he altered the dates on STD test results to make it appear her husband, not Buzbee, was responsible for the transmission. He allegedly used these falsified records in a failed blackmail attempt against the husband during the divorce proceedings.

Lawsuits Amid Feud with Roc Nation

Buzbee has recently faced multiple lawsuits, which he claims are part of a smear campaign orchestrated by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Buzbee previously filed a high-profile suit accusing Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a party in 2000, allegations both men deny.

“Roc Nation has been illegally soliciting individuals for several weeks to sue my law firm,” Buzbee told the Houston Chronicle. He alleges that former clients were offered money to file complaints against him.

This week, Buzbee fired back with his own lawsuit in Texas, accusing Roc Nation of conspiring to tarnish his reputation by encouraging clients to bring “frivolous cases” against him. The suit claims more than two dozen current and former clients were targeted by these efforts.

Legal Fallout and Responses

While the recent allegations have yet to be substantiated, they add to the mounting controversies surrounding Buzbee, who has built a career on high-stakes lawsuits. A phone call and email to his Houston office went unanswered on Friday.

Jay-Z has denied the sexual assault allegations, with his attorney Alex Spiro calling the claims inconsistent and baseless. As legal battles intensify on multiple fronts, Buzbee’s once-glowing reputation as a legal powerhouse is now mired in scandal.
