In a thrilling matchup on Saturday night, Lafayette triumphed over Lehigh with a final score of 78-70, thanks in large part to Caleb Williams, who contributed 19 points to the Leopards’ victory.

Williams had a challenging shooting night, making 6 of 18 attempts from the field and only 1 of 7 from three-point range. However, he capitalized on his opportunities at the free-throw line, sinking all six of his attempts. Supporting him were Justin Vander Baan, who notched 17 points while hitting 5 of 11 shots, along with a perfect 6 for 6 from the charity stripe, and recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds and seven assists. Andrew Phillips also played a key role, scoring 14 points on 6 of 11 shooting and connecting on 2 of 6 from beyond the arc.

On the opposing side, the Mountain Hawks not only fought hard but were also led by Hank Alvey, who managed to secure 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Tyler Whitney-Sidney was another standout for Lehigh, contributing 14 points and five assists. Nasir Whitlock rounded out the scoring for the team with 13 points, helping to keep the game competitive.
