SPOKANE, Wash. — In an impressive display of dominance, Khalif Battle scored 24 points, leading Gonzaga to a resounding 107-55 victory over Pepperdine on Saturday evening.
Battle also helped the Bulldogs (20-7, 11-3 in the West Coast Conference) with five rebounds. Supporting him were Nolan Hickman, who contributed 18 points on an efficient 7-for-9 shooting, including 4-for-6 from three-point range, along with seven assists. Additionally, Michael Ajayi finished the game with 10 points, going 4 of 6 from the field and converting 2 of 3 free throws, while pulling down eight rebounds.
For the Waves (10-17, 4-10), Danilo Dozic emerged as the leading scorer, netting 12 points. Boubacar Coulibaly contributed 11 points and recorded three blocks, and Stefan Todorovic chipped in with 10 points of his own.
From the very beginning, Gonzaga took control, scoring just 18 seconds into the matchup and maintaining their advantage throughout the game. By halftime, the score was a commanding 55-26, with Battle scoring 14 points before the break. The Bulldogs continued to build on their lead in the second half, reaching a peak of 103-52 during a significant 24-3 scoring surge. Hickman was particularly effective during this period, adding 11 points to help secure the substantial win for Gonzaga.

Next, Gonzaga is scheduled to face Washington State on the road this Wednesday, while Pepperdine will welcome Oregon State to their home court on Thursday.
