    TOWSON, Md. — In a thrilling matchup on Thursday night, the Towson Tigers secured their 11th consecutive win by defeating the Delaware Fighting Blue Hens 75-70. Nendah Tarke emerged as a standout player for Towson, contributing 22 points while coming off the bench, along with grabbing eight rebounds, showcasing his impactful presence on the court.

    The Tigers (17-9, 12-1 Coastal Athletic Association) had a solid team performance, with Tyler Tejada scoring 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting and hitting 2 of 4 free throws. Dylan Williamson also played a significant role, adding 13 points to the scoreboard while connecting on 6 of his 14 attempts, including one three-pointer out of five tries.

    For the Blue Hens (12-14, 5-8), Erik Timko was the leading scorer with 15 points. Izaiah Pasha contributed well with 14 points and four assists, and Cavan Reilly made an impact with 12 points and an impressive six steals, reflecting Delaware’s competitive spirit during the game.

    Tarke was instrumental in establishing Towson’s lead, scoring 10 points in the first half, which culminated in the Tigers holding a narrow edge at halftime with a score of 36-34. He carried that momentum into the second half, where he added another 12 points to his tally, helping the Tigers secure their victory.

    Looking ahead, both teams are set to return to the court this Saturday, with Towson playing against Monmouth and Delaware facing Campbell.
