King tallies 24 points in Northeastern’s 67-58 victory over Campbell.

    BOSTON — On Thursday evening, Rashad King played a pivotal role in Northeastern’s victory over Campbell, contributing a total of 24 points in a 67-58 outcome.

    King’s performance included hitting 9 of 19 shots from the field, with a 3 for 8 record from three-point range, and he was perfect from the free-throw line, making all three attempts. The Huskies improved their record to 14-12, with a 6-7 tally in the Coastal Athletic Association. Harold Woods supported the team’s efforts with 14 points, shooting 6 of 16 from the field and converting 2 of 4 free throws while also grabbing 12 rebounds and securing four steals. LA Pratt contributed 11 points despite a 4 for 13 shooting night, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc, and also contributed four steals.

    Colby Duggan led the Fighting Camels’s efforts with 14 points, while Elijah Walsh added 12 points and six rebounds. Nolan Dorsey put up a solid performance as well, netting nine points, collecting nine rebounds, and recording four steals. Unfortunately for Campbell, this loss snapped their impressive seven-game winning streak.

    In the first half, King was instrumental, scoring 10 points, but Northeastern went into halftime trailing 32-29. The second half saw a turnaround as Northeastern outscored Campbell by 12 points, with King standout again, netting 14 points during this period.

    Looking ahead, both teams are set for their next matchups on Saturday, with Northeastern preparing to host Stony Brook and Campbell set to face off against Delaware on the road.
