South Easton, Massachusetts – In an exciting matchup, Todd Brogna played a pivotal role in leading the Stonehill Skyhawks to a 79-74 victory over the Saint Francis Red Flash on Thursday evening. Brogna scored a total of 18 points and also secured eight rebounds, helping Stonehill improve to a record of 13-13 overall and 5-6 in the Northeast Conference.
Ethan Meuser made significant contributions to the team’s success, adding 17 points to the scoreboard. His shooting was impressive, hitting 5 of 7 attempts, including an outstanding 4 of 5 from three-point territory, and completing all three opportunities at the free-throw line. Hermann Koffi also demonstrated his shooting prowess, finishing the game with 17 points, netting five of his twelve shots from the field, and impressively hitting five out of ten from beyond the arc.
On the other side of the court, Valentino Pinedo was the standout player for the Red Flash, recording an impressive 24 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Daemar Kelly supported the effort by contributing 12 points and two blocks, while Riley Parker added 10 points and provided six assists to his teammates.
The two teams are set to return to action on Saturday, with Stonehill preparing to host Mercyhurst and Saint Francis making the trip to face Central Connecticut State.
