CHICAGO — On Saturday, the Saint Francis (PA) basketball team secured a victory against Chicago State, triumphing with a score of 81-69.
Jeremy Clayville was instrumental in the win, contributing 17 points to his team’s success.
Clayville exhibited impressive shooting skills, making 6 of 8 field goal attempts, with an outstanding 5 of 6 accuracy from three-point range.
Valentino Pinedo also made a significant impact, scoring 14 points while connecting on 5 of 8 shots from the floor and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line, alongside grabbing seven rebounds.
Daemar Kelly rounded out the efforts well, achieving 13 points on 5 of 8 shooting, including three successful three-pointers out of four attempts.

The Cougars, struggling this season, had standout performances as well.
Gabe Spinelli led the way with 23 points and contributed four assists.
Jalen Forrest added to the scoreboard with 17 points and recorded two steals, while Quincy Allen tallied 14 points, along with eight rebounds, two steals, and two blocks, showcasing his all-around effort despite the loss.

The victory improved Saint Francis’s record to 10 wins and 15 losses, with a conference standing of 5-6 in the Northeast Conference.
Meanwhile, Chicago State’s season record fell to 4-21, with a conference mark of 4-6.
