Dylan Williamson played a pivotal role for Towson, scoring 17 points as the Tigers triumphed over Stony Brook with a score of 66-59 in a game held on Thursday night.

Williamson was efficient on the court, hitting 6 of 13 attempts from the field, including 3 for 7 from long range. The Tigers, now boasting a record of 15 wins and 9 losses with a remarkable 10-1 in the Coastal Athletic Association, also saw Nendah Tarke contribute significantly with 16 points and five rebounds. However, the team erupted in the second half, executing a crucial 14-2 scoring run that allowed them to overturn a five-point deficit, ultimately pushing their lead to 58-51 with 5:55 left. In that decisive second half, Williamson played a key role, scoring 12 points and helping secure the win.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to compete again on Saturday, with Towson heading to Monmouth and Stony Brook making the trip to face Hofstra.
