In a thrilling match on Thursday evening, Long Island University secured a victory against Wagner with a final score of 60-47.
Blake Lander was a standout performer for the Sharks, scoring 18 points and grabbing six rebounds, contributing significantly to his team’s win.
Alongside Lander, Jamal Fuller matched his scoring effort with another 18 points while also adding six rebounds to the team’s statistics.
Malachi Davis also provided a solid performance, contributing 13 points and shooting 5 of 14 from the floor, including 2 of 7 from beyond the arc.

On the other side of the court, Zaire Williams was the leading scorer for the Seahawks, closing the game with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals.
Wagner’s Tyje Kelton added nine points to the scoreboard, while Keyontae Lewis supported the team with eight points and eight rebounds.

Looking ahead, both squads are scheduled to take to the court again on Saturday.
Long Island University will be hosting Stonehill, while Wagner will be heading on the road to face Fairleigh Dickinson.
