DAYTON, Ohio — In an exciting matchup on Tuesday night, Amael L’Etang led the Dayton Flyers to a 69-63 victory over Davidson, impressively scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Javon Bennett played a crucial role in securing the win, hitting a layup with just 46 seconds remaining in the game.
For the Flyers, L’Etang’s double-double was essential, while Bennett also contributed significantly to the team’s success with 13 points and five rebounds. Nate Santos matched Bennett’s scoring total with 13 points, completing the night with six successful field goals but struggled from beyond the arc, managing only one 3-pointer out of four attempts.
On the other side, Reed Bailey was a standout for the Wildcats, finishing with 19 points, eight assists, and three steals.
