House’s 18 points propel Jacksonville State to victory over Liberty 72-61

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday night, Jacksonville State emerged victorious over Liberty with a final score of 72-61. This win marks the Gamecocks’ sixth consecutive victory.

Quel’Ron House led the way for Jacksonville State, scoring 18 points with impressive shooting, making 8 of his 12 attempts from the field. Jao Ituka also contributed significantly with 13 points, hitting 4 of 7 shots and going perfect from the free-throw line, where he made all four attempts. Michael Houge chipped in with 12 points, showcasing his shooting skills by going 6 for 11 from the field during the game.

Despite the loss, Liberty’s Taelon Peter put forth a commendable performance, finishing the game with 19 points and nine rebounds. His teammate Zach Cleveland also made his mark, scoring 17 points alongside grabbing seven rebounds and providing seven assists. Colin Porter added 12 points to Liberty’s efforts in the game.
