NEWARK, N.J. — In an impressive display of skill, Rafael Pinzon led the Bryant Bulldogs to a commanding 92-70 victory over NJIT on Saturday, scoring an outstanding 29 points.
Pinzon’s performance didn’t stop there; he also contributed five rebounds and orchestrated the offense with six assists, helping the Bulldogs improve their season record to 14-9 and remain undefeated in the America East Conference with an 8-0 mark.
Supporting Pinzon, Earl Timberlake had a notable game, adding 14 points on an efficient shooting performance, converting 6 of 11 attempts, and also grabbing 12 rebounds.
Aaron Davis contributed to the scoring effort as well, netting 12 points, although his shooting was less effective, making 4 of 12 attempts from the field and only 1 for 6 from beyond the arc. He did, however, capitalize at the free-throw line, hitting 3 of 4 attempts.
With this victory, the Bulldogs have now extended their winning streak to an impressive eight games.
