CONWAY, Ark. — In an exciting matchup on Wednesday evening, Central Arkansas emerged victorious over West Georgia, with a final score of 75-70, largely due to the efforts of Ben Fox, who recorded 18 points for his team.
Fox performed well, hitting 6 of 12 shots from the field and sinking 5 of 11 three-pointers. The Bears’ Elias Cato contributed significantly to the win, scoring 17 points with a shooting record of 7 for 12 (including 1 for 4 from beyond the 3-point line) while also grabbing eight rebounds. Cole McCormick added to the Bears’ offense with 11 points after going 4 of 8 from the field, with a notable 3 for 4 from three-point territory, while also providing five rebounds and three steals. This win marked a vital turnaround for the Bears, ending a disappointing six-game losing streak.
On the other side, the Wolves were led by Kyric Davis, who tallied 19 points in the contest.
