TERRE HAUTE, Ind.
— In an exciting matchup, Indiana State managed to secure a 72-67 victory over Missouri State, breaking a frustrating six-game losing streak. Samage Teel was a pivotal player for the Sycamores, contributing 20 points, including a crucial 3-pointer with just 52 seconds remaining in the game.

Teel displayed impressive shooting skills, hitting 5 of 11 attempts from the field and going 2 of 4 from beyond the arc. He was also perfect from the free-throw line, making all 8 of his attempts. His performance helped boost the Sycamores’ record to 10 wins and 12 losses overall, with a 4-7 record in the Missouri Valley Conference. Alongside Teel, Jaden Daughtry made a significant impact as well, scoring 18 points and securing nine rebounds. Camp Wagner also contributed to the team’s success, finishing with 14 points after making 4 of 11 shots from three-point range and hitting 2 of 3 free throws.

On the opposing side, Missouri State struggled to find their rhythm, resulting in a continued losing streak that has now reached 10 games. Dez White was the standout player for the Bears, scoring 16 points, while Michael Osei-Bonsu added 14 points and recorded six rebounds.
