BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — In a strong performance Saturday night, Samford secured a 77-61 victory over Wofford, thanks in large part to Jaden Brownell’s contribution of 18 points.
Brownell also recorded five rebounds, helping his team maintain their impressive season record of 17 wins and only 4 losses, along with a commendable 7-1 record in the Southern Conference.
Lukas Walls was another key player for the Bulldogs, scoring 12 points while shooting a solid 4 of 6 from the field and netting all three of his free-throw attempts.
Rylan Jones contributed as well, finishing with 11 points, having made 4 out of 9 shots, including 2 from beyond the three-point line.
